FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Can I order products other than LoFric and Navina through Select?

Yes, we can supply the full range of products available under Part IX of the Drug Tariff.

How can I order?

As a Select user, you can register by calling 0800 783 7027. You can then choose to register to order online or can place your repeat orders by email, post or by telephone. You can also sign up to our text to order service.

As a Healthcare Professional you can register on the website, then log in and place an order for your patientsAlternatively, you can call the Select team on 0800 783 7027 to register your patients.

How long will it take for my products to be delivered?

We can provide next day delivery upon receipt of your prescription (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays). In some areas of the UK, or with certain products, delivery can take 48 hours.

For your own peace of mind, we advise you to re-order products when you still have two week's supply left.

What if the delivery comes when I am out?

If you have provided a pre-agreed location (such as with a neighbour or in the porch) your parcel will be left there when you are out.  If not, you will receive a calling card from the courier company which tells you what to do.

Do I need a prescription?

Yes, we will need a copy of your prescription in order to process your product orders. If we cannot request prescriptions on your behalf you can post your prescription to Select:

What happens to the personal information provided on my prescription?

Please refer to the NHS Business Services Authority for details of how the data from your prescription is used in line with GDPR regulations: https://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/our-policies/privacy

How do I get samples in order to try a different LoFric product?

You can contact us to request sample products from the LoFric range and we will arrange to send these out to you. Please note that these samples are for demonstration use only and they must only be used under medical guidance. For more information on samples click here.

What if I want to change my product?

Before changing products, you must seek guidance from your healthcare professional, such as your continence nurse. Alternatively, you can also speak to one of the Select Nursing Team for advice on your product. Any changes to your prescription will ultimately need to be agreed by your GP.

What if I have a medical question?

Firstly try to contact your own specialist nurse. If you cannot get hold of them or do not have their contact details, you can email one of our specialist nurse advisors or contact us on 0800 783 7027 and we will put you in contact with the most appropriate person to handle your query.

What do I do if I have a question about my products?
